James Hyde started the Men of Honor ministry several years ago because he was passionate about teaching boys about manhood, directly from God’s word.
Because of Covid, the classes were put on hold for two years, but he was able to resume them in August of 2022.
The Men of Honor Ministry meets at Lake County High School every Tuesday with 11th and 12th-grade males. Around 15 young men are currently participating in the group sessions, and they are keen on learning what it takes to be a real man.
Most of them have had no father figure or positive role model in their life, and they look forward to the instruction they receive every week. They are very involved in the learning process and even encourage each other as they discuss life issues.
